On Thursday the 3rd of March, the primary children at the Focus School – Berkeley Campus took part in a series of activities to celebrate World Book Day. The children were all allowed to come into school dressed as their favourite book character, and a huge amount of imagination and effort had obviously gone into this. Characters that were featured included Peter Pan, Robin Hood, Willy Wonka and Cruella Deville.

During the day, the children joined in with a number of activities, including book readings and a whole-school book quiz, where the children were able to show off their vast knowledge! Prizes were awarded for the best costumes, including to Romain Leflaive in Year 6, and the children had a thoroughly enjoyable day!
