On Friday 16th June the primary took part in Den Day for Save the Children. The day was designed to raise money for and awareness of children around the world who have to live in emergency or temporary shelter. The students learnt about the reasons why some children have no home such as fleeing conflict or a natural disaster. The students had to build a den in small house teams. The only rules were that it had stand up on its own and all members had to fit inside. Raiders won overall with dens in the top 3. But the winners of Den Day were Juan Huntley, Maxwell Martin, Franchesca Davies, Lui Osman and Lenora Haughton from Raiders. A fun time was had by all and the teachers were blown away by the effort, team work and enthusiasm of the primary students.
