Years 7-8 spent a whole day doing groups SDL assignments linked to finance. This was part of a cross-curricular day with links to maths, geography, citizenship and many other subjects. The day followed the new 50-50 SDL model. For the first part of the day students had a guided lesson on budgeting before being placed into groups to work on their TBQs during the study. Years 7-8 showed brilliant team work skills during the study with many students showing strong leadership. In the final period of the day the groups presented their work on TBQs covering a range of topics such as tax, inflation and banking. Well done years and 8.
